A return to Multiverse Empty
PostSubject: A return to Multiverse   A return to Multiverse EmptyWed 14 Mar - 23:22

Hello all,

I first worked with Multiverse back in September '06. But lost a harddrive, and never went to see about restarting. Now i find myself with some free time.

So, how has it progressed in the last few years?

CRobinso,

Howdy and welcome. Well the Multiverse Networks company has closed its doors and released the platform as open source under the MIT License. A small group of people Tristan, Jono (delurin), and myself have formed the Multiverse Software Foundation to shepherd the open source system and community going forward.

In regards to the platform, unfortunately, there were no updates since 2008 by the Multiverse Networks company. However, now that the system is open source we have many plans for its future and are currently working on the code.

There is a lot to be excited about!

Thanks,
Shane C Fischer

Thanks for the welcome!

A few questions:

1) Was inventory/combat/spell systems ever worked on?
2) Was the client/server stable at last release?
3) What is the best place to start with the current system?
4) Do i need to grab the SVN for any reason?

Thanks for your time,
CRobinso
