| It looks like the Multiverse master server isn't running: | Code: | INFO [2012-05-29 17:32:47,910] LoginHelper LoginButton_Click INFO [2012-05-29 17:32:47,912] Network Information Connecting to master tcp server INFO [2012-05-29 17:32:47,965] NetworkHelper IP Address for master.multiversemmo.com: '209.105.244.194' INFO [2012-05-29 17:32:47,965] Network Information Connecting to login server at 209.105.244.194:9005 WARN [2012-05-29 17:32:49,111] Exception Failed to connect to login server at master.multiversemmo.com:9005 - System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 209.105.244.194:9005 at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress) at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.Connect(EndPoint remoteEP) at System.Net.Sockets.TcpClient.Connect(IPEndPoint remoteEP) at System.Net.Sockets.TcpClient.Connect(IPAddress address, Int32 port) at Multiverse.Network.NetworkHelper.Connect(String hostname, Int32 port) INFO [2012-05-29 17:32:49,119] LoginHelper Login return: MasterTcpConnectFailure |
Is the default master.multiversemmo.com:9005 the right address? I'm using the client built from trunk source. |

| Vanquish (the guys hosting the website server and the aforementioned game server) have been having a bit of a shift in terms of their hardware, and installed loads more servers recently.
There's always the chance the connection settings were accidentally changed - unless someone has an obvious solution, I'll contact Chris over at Vanquish tomorrow morning. |

| OK, hopefully it'll be easy to get back up.
I noticed there's plenty of room on that login page at http://login.multiversemmo.com/login.jsp . It might be worth adding a note at the bottom about the default guest login and password. I've noticed that lots of new people get confused by that. |

Good idea - I'll let Shane know (or probably do it myself) when I get the chance |
