hi...i was searching for 3d mmorpg engine and i found this...i am completely new to this, i gone through the guide i installed Java JDK, and mysql 4.1, i also successfully created the table. but when i try to run the server i get this message.
"STARTUP FAILED -- didnt complete after 120 seconds "

i dont know how to rectify this...and what is the use of Multiverse client...i have used all the login combination but it never works

Did you get the JDBC driver and set the location of that in your multiverse.properties file?

Oh, and the client login for the demo world is user guest password guest. The installed client should be from the ClientSetup.msi package, not the MultiverseSetup.exe -- that one is old and confuses people and should probably be taken offline.
