Hi All.

I have been involved with MUD development, ( Circlemud, tinymud and a few other) for many years and found it fascinating.

Having had a look over sourceforge recently and being an addict to the new MMORPG genre I decided to have a look further into their working and construction with a view of eventually opening my own.

I hope to make a few friends along the way and I dare say a few not so friendly people on the way as well, but that's all part of life's rich tapestry.

I hope to be able to contribute to this developers group over time.

Basically Hi All

Greetings.

I worked a lot with the Envy branch of the DikuMUD family tree, but also worked with Circle for a bit. MUDs are a great way to get started with coding and game development.

Enjoy your stay here. Smile

Welcome!

"with a view of eventually opening my own."

It is definitely doable. I think Multiverse is the *best* chance an indie has of getting one off the ground.

And it's MIT licensed! Very Happy

Good luck!
