[All Tools] Windows 8 + 8.1 Compatibility

Is anyone having trouble opening the Tools and Client on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?
When I try to open them on my Windows 8.1 laptop, they crash.

The first time I opened a tool, which was the Model Viewer, I was able to designate an asset repository, but when I restarted to allow the repo to be loaded, it kept crashing. The same thing happened to all the tools except Asset Importer and Mosaic Generator. So perhaps it's a graphical issue?
