Looks like Java errors. I'm going through something similar right now and I've installed and reinstalled java about 10 times to no avail. (my error has something to do with jvm.dll) Anyway I have one suggestion for you that might help pinpoint the issue and that is to check through the .out files. They are located in the "Log" folder for multiverse wherever you installed it. I too get the 120 second fail...

Hope that helps...

Well, the logs wont tell me much,

since the existing logs seems to be all good with no errors,.

but.....

there are no logs for world manager nor proxy.

did not realize that until when i stop server i get:

Code:

././multiverse.sh -v stop
awk: C:\Users\Phill\Documents\multiverse/bin/prop2sh.awk:3: warning: regexp component `[:space:]' should probably be `[[:space:]]'
awk: C:\Users\Phill\Documents\multiverse/bin/prop2sh.awk:3: warning: regexp component `[:space:]' should probably be `[[:space:]]'

so it means that worlds manager nor proxy never initialize for some reason therefore no logs output for those 2 apps.

so still blind:

any other suggestions or idea on why those 2 apps wont even initialize?

or maybe i am missing a step?

thanks in advanced

There is an error if you use the most recent version of cygwin/dependencies

basically in prop2sh.awk you need to change:
Code:
/^[:space:]*$/ { next }

to
Code:
/^[[:space:]]*$/ { next }

and in multiverse.sh you need to change
in function start_world_manager () {
Code:

-Dmultiverse.agenttype=${AGENT_TYPE} \
        -Dmultiverse.loggername=${AGENT_NAME} \

to

Code:

-Dmultiverse.agenttype=${AGENT_TYPE} \
        -Dmultiverse.loggername=wmgr_1 \

and in function start_proxy () {
Code:

-Dmultiverse.agenttype=${AGENT_TYPE} \
        -Dmultiverse.loggername=${AGENT_NAME} \

to

Code:

-Dmultiverse.agenttype=${AGENT_TYPE} \
        -Dmultiverse.loggername=proxy_1 \

I mentioned this in the other thread but did not spell it out. This will solve the space problem and the log problem but you will probably still have a jdbc and worldname problem so you should probably change the following in multiverse.sh

Code:
JDBC=${JDBC:-$multiverse_jdbcJarPath}
to
Code:
JDBC=${JDBC:-$(java -cp $MV_JAR -Dmultiverse.propertyfile=${MV_PROPERTYFILE} multiverse.scripts.PropertyGetter multiverse.jdbcJarPath)}

and

Code:
MV_WORLDNAME=${MV_WORLDNAME:-$multiverse_worldname}

to

Code:
MV_WORLDNAME=${MV_WORLDNAME:-$(java $JAVA_FLAGS multiverse.scripts.PropertyGetter multiverse.worldname)}

There are other ways to do it but these seem like the easiest. But I believe these only work when the server is being run in cygwin and not on linux so if you are using both you may need to put them in if statements like

Code:
if [ $(uname -o) == "Cygwin" ]; then
