Help to Start Multiverse Server on Ubuntu or Windows 7 (x64)?

I'm in trouble I can not turn the server on windows 7 (x64), I am trying at the moment to start now in terminal ubuntu, most do not care and I find tutorials on the internet, someone could help me on how to connect the terminal server ubuntu ? I am grateful!

Have you given up and moved on to big engine?

I am going to finally spend some time getting my setup running again, so I thought I would begin by pulling the newest code release and firing that up.

Feel free to respond to this thread if you are still working on it, I can document my steps better if there are things out of sync with the wiki.
