Hi All - Could someone tell me which source code is the latest and which is being updated? I'm slightly confused here:
- On the main page there's a "Downloads" link in the main menu which allows me to download "MultiverseComplete.zip" which has a date of December 17, 2013.
- On the main page right next to the "Downloads" link in the menu is another link to the "Github Repo" which shows that the repository was updated 11 months ago, so about March 2013.
- In the Wiki, under "Getting Started with Multiverse", the Download link takes me to Sourceforge with a last update date of April 30, 2013.
- At the bottom of the "Getting Started with Multiverse" page there's a link to a page for "Setting up a Multiverse Server on Ubuntu". The instructions for downloading Multiverse shows to use subversion to download the code from Sourceforge again but this time with a date of November 25, 2008.
In a search through the forums I came across a message about wanting to move the code from Sourceforge to Github but it was left as "we'll think about it". Seeing the Github link on the menu makes me think that it was decided that it was a good idea in the end but the date there is older than the one Sourceforge link an the "Downloads" zipped file.
As someone who wants to use Multiverse as a scalable platform for AI research I'd like to be able to keep my core installation of the Multiverse platform up to date when and where I can. Which link should I use to download the latest and most "kept up to date" version? I'm guessing I'd want to stick with the Sourceforge/Github repositories so I can apply any patches that are released?
Thanks! The answer is probably very obvious but I'm completely missing it.
