| Hi, I was just wondering if there was an in-editor way to test your build? Like running the game in low graphics or something? Thanks! | |

| Hi LordShade, welcome to the forums! They only way you can test your world, is by running the server and running a developer instance of the game. However, I think it would be a good idea to have some kind of 'run around and try the proportions' test program, or even something built in to the World Editor. To see how to do a test run on the game, check out this article on the Wiki (unless you already know how) | |

| Technically you can test the client without the server using the --standalone command but then you have to simulate everything you want to display from the server. But might be useful for testing some ui components (I have only used it a couple of time a long time ago) | |

| A lot of tools I've seen in other systems have a "Play" button that looks like a DVD play icon. Essentially it starts an instance of the level you are building. This would be very handy because you don't have to disconnect your train of thought from the editor to setup and run the server and log in with the client. It would do all that for you. It would basically be a "Debug" feature. It should also display a debug window with an active list of all events and scripts being executed as well as the option to turn on additional debug features. This type of functionality would be good to take the tool to the "Next Level"
