French Wiki?

Would it be needed to have a french translation of the wiki?
If so I can contribute by translating the current wiki articles to french. It would be my pleasure to do so. It would be cool if multiverse would be able to support more than one language. (and of course it's better then Google translate since Google translate has some errors.

It would take a little bit of time but I am willing to do it.

Sure, there's been interest in the platform from people who speak Spanish, French, and German. Not so much from other language -- I'm pretty sure my Swahili skills won't come into play.

I will start working on the french translations of the wiki since I know french, it's too bad I don't know any other language but I might as well help where I can help.

I've noticed that Wikipedia, which also runs MediaWiki, has a list of all the languages that a page is available in along the left side. Does anyone know if there is something special we'd need to do to the MV wiki to make it automatically link to translations of a page like that?

O.k. so I am going to work on sat/sun and I should get a new laptop soon so I will be able to work on it more.

I tried the French selection on the toolbar at the bottom of the page.

I am certainly not a native (or second language) speaker of French so
how do the forums appear when you select "French" on the toolbar?

I guess this doesn't affect the wiki.

(I understand there may be differences between Firefox and IE )

It's not bad but it has a lot of errors. When translating it, when I have time, I usually use it just to get an idea but there are a lot of corrections to be made.
