I'm trying to browse our collection and the sampleworld texture files to manage our assets. It seems that we really need to organize and preview new and existing DDS textures, so I stumbled into this great nifty tool from nVidia and ddsviewer.com
Description: Allows you to view .DDS files in Thumbnail view in the Windows Explorer.
