There are no other processes running that could possibly be accessing this file, I have even shutdown max to see if max was "holding" the file and no luck, any ideas? this a common problem?

could it be a permission issue? I have not run into that problem before.

Dont think so, My account is an admin account and the only one on this machine and I have ownership and full control of the file.

This is a windows 7 machine though, there may be some "helpful" security feature getting in the way somewhere.

Is the Importer running as administrator? If not give that a try.

I think is win7 issue,

this happens a lot in my setup and not just with multiverse stuff, annd even closing othersxapps that were using it.

for me a quick reboot usually solves the access denied due of ittem being used by other app


BTW am using Win7 64 enterprise, quite buggy and annoying at a times.
