Importing static .X models in MV? Empty
PostSubject: Importing static .X models in MV?   Importing static .X models in MV? EmptyWed 3 Aug - 8:33

Hello all,

I'm in the process of modelling some buildings in my modelling-app of choice (3D World Studio), and as it only exports in .X, I've realised that I'm going to have issues with importing the files into MV...

Anyone know how I can convert .X files to an acceptable format? (I think it's .dae I'm meant to be converting to, right?)

Cheers

Tristan

I know you can export from maya/max you would need a converter to Collada you can look at opencollada.org/collada.org to see if they have a .x converter but I would be worried about animations being translated correctly
